my bad...
so i guess i predicted correctly. im not very good at blogging. its been since june! a lot has happened in that time. we had our one year anniversary yaay! it has been a busy year and felt like it was only a few months. time flies when you're having fun right? we have done so much more around the house and we are just about done with what we are going to do to it. we decided that it will be a rental eventually so we didn't want to do all the things that we might do to a more permanent home. someone might not want to rent a home that we customize to what we like. so we decided to go a little more traditional with the paint and decor. but that means that we ended up going through 5 different paint colors before we finally chose a more neutral one. it was all such a pain that i don't think i want to take on another project like this again, or at least not for a long time. i've definitely got it out of my system thats for sure. the next house we buy will not be a major project. unless of course its a steal! ;)

testing it out
This is my first post. Im not sure how much i am going to like blogging or if i will keep up with it. So this is my test blog!! Ok, so Sean and I got married about 8 months ago and we have not had much time to breathe since! We have moved like three times and finally bought a little condo! It has been a nightmare trying to remodel the thing and I'm so ready to just hire someone else to do it! it seems like every time we try to start a new project, we get into another project that takes even longer! The first time was when we took a shelf off the wall in the laundry room and had a really hard time unscrewing it from the wall. but we yanked it out anyway and I started painting, about 15 min later I noticed water running down the wall! It turns out that the people who were here before us screwed the shelf into the sewage pipe!!! We had to cut out the portion of the wall and fix the pipe and now patch the wall back up before we can finish painting! Its been so frustrating! We moved into our condo in march and have been living in a construction zone ever since! Everyone who I talk to says that this is sort of the way that remodeling goes. Yesterday we decided on our accent color!!...I think. we both really like it! We have gone through red, grey, blue, yellow, and purple! we finally found a different blue that is much better. Ive been pretty impressed with how handy Sean is! He has learned so much during all of our projects. So i guess some good has come out of our unfortunate housing situation. anyways, thats it for now! we will see how long it takes me to post again!
